PRODUCT:

  •  Are your products microwave/dishwasher safe?
    Our ceramic products are all microwave and dishwasher safe. All our ceramics are made of stoneware clay and fired at high temperature. However, having said all this, it is our advise to treat the pieces gently (especially those with matte glazes), hand wash those if possible.

    As for our drinkware, please be mindful that items with gold rims should not be used in the microwave. 
     
  • The item I want is out of stock, what do I do?
    Thank you for your interest in our products! You will see a "Notify me" on the item that is out of stock and you will receive an email notification once it is restocked.
    You may also sign up for our mailing list to be notified about restocks and exciting new releases.

  • Are there any locations where I can buy your homeware pieces in person?

    We do have several stockists. For the complete list please navigate to the 'STOCKIST' page.

  • Is your packaging eco-friendly?
    We are working on making all our packaging as environmentally conscious as we possibly can. For the inside padding, we have been using recycled plastic bubble wrap that we have previously received. In the meantime, we are still exploring various bio-degradable and paper based protection for your precious pieces. We do hope we can trust you to either reuse all packaging or recycle responsibly. 

  • Do you sell kitchenware and commercial equipments?
    Yes we do sell commercial kitchenware and equipments. Some of which are eligible for PSG grants. Please send us an email to enquire further.

ORDERS:

  • What methods of payments do you accept?
    We accept payment by VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay. We also accept PayNow to our UEN. 
  • Can I change or cancel my order after it's been placed?
    Don't worry, as long as we have not started packing, you are still able to change your order. Just drop us an email at hello@basepiece.com or drop us a DM on Instagram as soon as you can!

  •  What are your shipping rates?

    Due to the nature of our products, all orders are done via door to door courier. 
  • Do you do International Orders?
    Yes, we do offer the international shipping options. Fees will vary depending on the weight and location. Please get in contact with us up at hello@basepiece.com. You may also arrange for your own pickup from our warehouse location.
  • How long does it take for my orders to reach me?
    Your orders will be processed and dispatched within 2-3 working days from the day of order confirmation. Slight delays may occur during peak/festive seasons. An email will be sent to you with the tracking details once your order has been arranged for pickup.

    All items under preorder or backorder will require 3-5 weeks to process and dispatch. Please order only if you're willing to wait. Take note that all orders under preorder or backorder are not refundable. 

 

RETURNS:

  • What is your return policy?
    • You can return your order within 7 days from receiving it. Do contact us with your return enquiry at hello@basepiece.com
    • All items are only eligible if they are unused and in their original packaging.
    • Please take note that all returns must be done via courier with our selected courier company only. This cost will be borne by you and not included in the refund amount. 
    • Items that were made to order, on sale, or on preorder will not be eligible for returns

  • Can I do an exchange instead of refund?
    Yes you can do an exchange for items of the same or lower value. No refunds will be made for discrepancies in value. The same return policy applies for exchanges. 
    All returns and re-delivery cost will be borne by you

 

  • What happens if my items break during shipping?

    We will do whatever we can to avoid this from happening. We take care to wrap all items in bubblewrap/air-pockets/cardboard and make sure they cannot move within the box, touch the sides of the box or touch each other before dispatching your items out so please rest assured.  

    In the unlikely situation whereby your item(s) are damaged please contact us within seven (7) days upon delivery.

    Please include photos of the product and its initial packaging in your email. We will arrange for a replacement of the same product if its still available in store or offer a refund on the affect item(s) if the product is sold out.

    Please note that all delivery costs are non-refundable.
